The Dotti Cake Company is able to hand-deliver your birthday cake and upon request can provide a cake stand – one less thing to worry about! We’re able to deliver your birthday cakes to locations including Southampton, Romsey, Winchester, Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire. Please note that a small mileage fee may apply.

Birthday Cake Prices

Creating your birthday cake starts with your enquiry. Whether you want a kids birthday cake, a floral cake or an adults birthday cake. Whether it’s chocolate, vanilla, coffee or prosecco flavoured or whether it has buttercream, ganache, fondant. Once I understand what you’d like your dream birthday cake to look like, I then start the process of planning and creating it.

The most minimally decorated birthday cake will start with approximately 3 hours of baking, and making your edible decorations. Depending on the level of detail you’d like on your birthday cake, it is quite normal for me to spend a whole day crafting your creation for your cake. All decorations are made using various materials including high quality edible modelling paste and either coloured by hand or strong colours may need to be purchased.

Your cakes are then made and baked and once cooked, crumbed with your choice of flavoured homemade buttercream or ganache. The next chapter in your bespoke creation is covering, assembling and decorating. Just one tier can take a minimum of 2 hours, 3 tiers of heavy decorations a minimum of 4 hours.

Before all this takes place in my planning I order and purchase the modelling paste, cover paste, boards, box, ribbons and anything else you may need in addition. It is for these reasons that we may not be able to cancel or make amends to your order once we’ve received your deposit. Please read our terms and conditions for more information.

My individual cakes start at £35 which I hope from the above you will agree is very good value for money. Each creation is made with love and a huge amount of attention to detail to ensure that with each cake you experience the wow factor, on not just looks but taste as well.
